    The Greeks invented gayness.

  • only $295 to experience astral projection. hmm, what's the going rate on mescaline at the moment?

  • cough cough

sorry folks i must have been drunk when i wrote that

  • does the word frankenbike justice

  • that bike works really nicely despite the toe overlap. one of the best i've sampled TBH.

  • awesome! would love to have a go, what's the geo?

  • I have toe overlap since putting 38c tyre on. Don't notice it.

Who built it and would it be rude to ask how much? Nice work.

  • one of the bikes at Sheffield looked like someone needs a few more brazing classes but top marks for having a go.

  • Which bike?

  • if you are talking about tristan's bike (pictured above) i think the frame was only finished last week and needed cleaning up.

  • Tristan's bike above was finished on Friday, so late that he actually missed his train and had to come down early Saturday. Not quite the finished article as still needs to be cleaned up, but he was stoked with it. It's a work of oddity and made up of a Neil Orell low pro and at least 1 or 2 other bikes, but he was loving it. Amazingly short wheel base and turns on a dime.

  • Plenty of weight on the rear axle + a pretty steep headtube = nippy bike :)

  • will be nice to see more pics, more detailed and a wee closer...

  • awesome! would love to have a go, what's the geo?

thanks man, i might be at the london open, think i posted the geo up in the polo bike upgrades thread :)

my friend nick built it for me, hes done a few of his own frames, i was really impressed with them, so i asked and he built! in total it cost just under half a 14bikeco frame....

yeah i basically asked him not to clean it up at all, just to try and have it ready for the sheffield tourney. he made the frame on the wednesday and thursday, did the forks on friday, i was playing polo on it saturday!

luca i just saw the bar/stem combo he made for you, its well tidy!
