I think its the welds, they did nice smooth ones on mine, I think its becuase they actually took their time making bikes when they made mine. Then they got so popular and started churning out frames at a huge rate and the quality naturally suffered. The used to be no better than visps really, they're still not great tbh. I was told that they only cost $15 to make, but if they sold them at the same price as visps no on would buy them.
if i had the money i would make it just like spotter's, maybe keep white spokes & white seat or something!!
i love the leaders they all look great, however i do have to say the seat post slip problem is still an issue! and does anyone know how to close up that MASIVE gap between the rear wheel and the frame a little ?

I'd like some syncro's having tried xanders this weekend but they seem to be a little tricky to get hold of.
Re: smaller gap, get a half link and as fior the seat post, I wouldn't do that tightening thing someone suggested as you could go too far and track the front of the tube.
