  • Spoke to a taiwanese frame manufacturing company about 6 months ago. Minimum order of 100 units (in EACH size). very difficult to sell 100 units, if I did it would mean every third polo player in the uk would be on one. Not to mention that those third would ALL have to be averagely heighted. blech. Still go cad drawings and models and all the rest.

    Had problems with engineering it to pass CEN tests too, without being stupidly heavy. CEN tests are a must if you're not building semi-custom frames else you're leaving yourself open to suings and the like.

    With the current pompino;

    different graphic (pompolo), come with beefer fork, and the right component for the polo crowd.

    they don't even need to make a whole new frame, just take the existing one and sell it as a polo bike, they already done that with the other pompino (road, city, alfine, etc.), it can't be hard to do a polo one with the exception of a different fork.
