  • Yeah so he got it wrong with the 2 muppets he was working with originally and has changed his ways and for that I applaude him, as I feel do many on the forum. I honestly don't think that what happened way back then in days of yore has much influence on peoples current opinions of Foffa.

    However, it's clear that his finger is still a mile off the pulse of the fixed gear scene as if this were not the case then towny high pro and webby lo pro would never have made it past a scribble on a sketch pad.

    There are a number of small, local businesses either manufacturing their own product or sourcing it from overseas - in other words doing what Foffa currently do and want to do in the future it seems - and making a much better job of it because they are sticking to traditional designs and executing these with quality and style.

    If you think it's really about a hatred of Foffa then imagine either towny high pro or webby lo pro had shown up on the Cinelli or Bob Jackson site. They would be getting just as much flack, maybe even more because people would expect better from an established brand.
