Anyone now how this frame effect was achieved?
I know the paint was stripped but how = sandblast then lacquered?

I don't think it was painted in the first place, they are the marks from the brazing torch.

Was the original paint silver?

Also, I think that other bike is a bit more than unpainted. It hasn't been tidied up at all. My raw lugged frame has some brazing still in and around the cut out lugs, but not the kind of splatters to that effect, or the heat marks.

Still it does look cool.
