Intriguing that they're releasing only (at this stage) as ''an app'' from their app store.
Interesting to see how companies are positioning themselves digitally rather than producing tangible physical products.
Interviewed a guy from Blinkbox this morning. Tesco bought an 80% share of them a couple of months back so I'm guessing they've got a bit of capital behind them. Their idea is that by say... 2015/2020 people won't be buying DVDs when they watch movies, some will be buying blu-ray, but the vast majority will be effectively subscribing for access to streamed video content rather than paying for ownership of a product.
Software seems to be a similar deal. Interesting few years ahead to see how it plays out.
