Not much, if you find a used yellow wheelset on ebay or something, i doubt you'll be in much competition for them.

That Peugeot looks rancid in my opinion. Jus' sayin'.
On a budget, I'd get some quality second hand parts from the classifieds.

i like the pink bar tape...
...not the wheels though.

Looks like Cinelli red.
I hope that isn't a 501 frame. Seems a bit of a waste of time spending a lot on a sub-531 Peugeot, I think anyway.

The planet X wheels are awesome for the money - I've probably put 2,000 miles in to mine riding them all year around, sure the nuts are a bit rusty but the wheels are still true as the day I got them. Also they are sealed hubs, handy if you'll be using it all year round.

Never built a bike before..
Go to a bike shop then, start from the bottom. Learn to fix a puncture before building a whole bike...

^ Never converted a vertical dropout bike before. Im assuming its a bit of a gamble as to if you'll get a tension you like. Im pretty picky about chain tension, even with assorted sprockets and a half link. Have you done many?
-
• #47416
might as well use the gear hanger and use a chain tensioner....

those bars sette duo's on the bianchi?

it wasn't the pin that broke, one of the side bits sheered off.
No idea how I did this to mine, when sometimes I can't even open jam jars FFS

The Bianchi is my 1st MG attempt. I've become quite attached to the frame and I'm considering getting dropouts done by Superted but if possible I would like to see how the bike rides. If it feels right I will get the dropouts sorted and and a respray.

How much does it cost to get them swapped out? I like the fat tubes
-
• #47422
not a great deal, i think nuknow got his 26" converted and gussets added for <£100. You could also ask mario vaz's brother, I understand he does it.
-
• #47423
I think it will cost £75-80 to get the dropouts sorted. The frame is Columbus Max

I've got a mid 70s Viscount touring bike that I would like to recondition, unfortunately the paint has taken a hammering over the years and I will need to get it re-sprayed. Can anyone recommend a good painter who will be able to match the colour as close as possible to the original?

Just built this up.
19 lbs and carbon free.
Very nice MG! There's some mighty fine GT action going on here.
They are/were indeed your Forks. To get the headset would've been too much at once, especially after tracking down the stem. I'm sure I would've coped ;) but gotta leave something to do, right.
