Habit.
Did it last year so it was 'automatic' for this year. Funnily enough, my employer has signed up for it, but sent out the note way too late for me.
Am also a CycleChat member so if the Challenge runs next year I'll have to toss a coin!

But I'm sure tar, phenols, cresols, xylenols, naphthalene, pyridine bases, creosote, benzene, toluene, xylene, solvent naphtha, ammonium sulphate and ammonia solution, sulphuric acid, picolines, quinoline, quinaldine, acenaphthene, anthracene and dicyclopentadiene in small measures are good for the immune system.
Right?
Isn't that the ingredients list for a Big Mac ?

Wot xanderh sed (the first line).
Two rides in two days and my body barely survived.
I discovered I can go down the steps on a bike, but maybe I shouldn't do that on a regular unless I have a bike like xanderh or Kris'. Not bad for an old'un.
I crawled home trying to figure out why I could cane it on the ride but not solo. Answers on a postcard please :-).
Rear wheel held out til I got home and was fine on the commute to work. Have a tube with me just in case it turns out to be a puncture.
Next ride......
