No real substitute for hitting the phone I'm afraid- you have to have this sort of info direct from the horses mouth or it's no use.
You live with co-renters though? So most policies won't cover you as the people you live with aren't close family or partner. I believe that only Endsleigh will insure you (or a broker for them), and then only up to £1,500 worth of bike.
