  • A customer in London refused to give us his address or phone number this week, insisting we only contact him by e-mail. I try contacting him today and get this automated response:
    (Names have been removed)

"Hello, chances are you have sent your email to the wrong address. I have been receiving emails for several ****** ******'s, as they have been giving out MY address for over a year now, thinking it's theirs.
Given that they haven't been able to ever log in and check their email, I'd figure that they would eventually stop, but they haven't yet.

I'm still getting Mexican emails about software design, stuff about mountain unicycling, emails about my year old Acura, emails about Canadian Tire meetings, and responses for applications about starting a subway franchise.
So, if you're looking for the ****** ****** in Texas, Mississippi, or the one in the UK, they gave you the wrong address.

If you're actually trying to reach ME, the ****** ****** in New Brunswick, Canada, well, you'll know how to reach me another way.
Because the other ****** ******’s caused me to get plowed with spam at this address, I had to drop it and get a different one. Please take the time to update your address book.

And, if the ****** ****** you're sending to does NOT live on the east coast of Canada, don;t bother sending anything else to this address, because THIS AIN'T HIM. :-)

Thanks, and have a great day."
