  • I've got 2- a carhartt one for in town when I'm feeling vain (it's a bit sweaty and doesn;t fold up small at all) and a well cheapo Decathlon one that weighs about 5g and rolls up tiny but ain't so pretty and is still a bit sweaty. Both do a top job of keeping the rain out though.
I know I should invest a bit of money in a good, lightweight, breathable waterproof, but I just can't bring myself to spend £100+ on what is basically a kagoule. (sp??)
Swrve's hoodie jacket is lush but they only make it for men and the only one that fit me round the hips was enormous over my back.
Which brings me onto my next problem- tights.
I've got a couple of pairs of decathlon leggings and they're great for long distance in the saddle but they just won't stay put when I'm off the bike/ out of the saddle for any more than about 2 seconds. I think it might be because they're cheap but more likely to do with my hip/ bottom/ thigh ratio, in which case bibs is gonna be the only way to go.
    Any thoughts ladies???
