yup, i've hammered a few frame in the past to make it work but not this beauty - will find a way round it! bizarrely it might mean fitting road cranks if i can't find a ring that will fit

i like running 48t though, was actually planning on putting a 52t on but not anymore!

I've probably missed a load of info here. But is there a reason you cant space the drivetrain out a little.

The cheapest way being to use longer chainring bolts with spacers (ugly though).The best being just to use a longer BB axle.
