His legs have clearly gone so it makes sense to let him go. Would have loved to see him play for us five/six years ago. Have we even got 11 players left in our squad? McClaren has a hell of a job on his hands

not a bad bit of business for newcastle IMO he wanted a 5 year deal on big money, so save on the wage bill and sets a preference to older players asking for big money deals, they must think the young Teiotte( spelling?) will fill nolans boots, they also have ben Auther comming back this year too.
