+1 on the fork line actually would make sense, though these old campag QR's don't have a definitive stop, they just keep rolling over (almost into the spokes?). Back end also can see the logic, though on mtb would never have them hanging down or facing forward, had incidents myself and others actually have had accidents because of it (though TBH the same branch destroyed the rotor too).
