I got mine yesterday. Tried it out on the way to work today so here is my super detailed, in depth review...
It works, but it's zoomed in so far it's totally useless.
I'm guessing there is no way to change this?

I didnt have any problems personally. I mount it to the head tube where there is less lateral movement/shakiness. Send me a screenshot of the video so I can try and help you out. M

I tried mine out on Friday. There is a slight zoom but it's pretty amazing for £10, posted. I guess it depends what you want to use it for. I'll be ordering another one.

Used mine on a ride to Brighton today! Was awesome, I really like it! Thanks, man!

does anyone fancy posting some footage? i will try to do the same.
maybe its just me or my camera, but i really feel the zoom is just too far

here is some awful shaky footage i took the other day, obviously bar mounting this is not the way to go.

• #93
I wonder if you could mod it with some small springs
-

Hey phil, it is a basic camera that costs the same as a budget bike light. For £10 an extremely tiny camera that records colour video, takes still photos and records sound at all is incredible value in my opinion. I didn't say it was anything more than it is, or had any advanced uses. Its a no frills camera which I'm barely making any money on when you include the other bits I've included in the pack, it was more to just share something cool with the forum!
But if you're not happy PM me and I'd be happy to offer you a return.

I don't think it's worth the hassle! I mount mine on my head tube which doesnt steer in a jerky fashion and its pretty stable. Helmet mounting (which is easy enough with the supplied strap) is also stable.

no im not really complaining, and i dont want a refund, for 10 quid it is a decent deal i guess. i'm just saying that it's not really much good for strapping to handle bars and making videos. i'm not knocking the quality or anything either, just that i feel it's far too zoomed in to be useful.
if anyone wants to get some good footage with it and prove me wrong then that would be great!
also, how do you mount it to the headtube with the supplied strap?
-
• #97
I mount mine sideways on the headtube (as I would on the bars) and just rotate the video when I transfer it. That gives me a better view of the road too. Try it out.

What are you using to edit the video?

Same as handle bars, just on the side- that's what I did:)
By the way I really love the camera It's a bargain and for the price it's a really cool little gadget to have :)

What are you using to edit the video?
I use windows live movie maker. It's easy enough, just click "rotate right" or "rotate left" on the home screen after opening the file. Then click "save movie" and choose depending on the quality you want.
Order submitted. Will let you know when they come. M
