Buy better pillows.

Sebacious fluid- this has seaped from your scalp and impregnated the pillow stuffing, the heat of the washing process has cured it, permenantly gluing together the fibres.
You could try sleeping with a shower cap on to protect new pillows.

Feather pillows.
Better for cinematic pillow fighting, also.

Why hello guys. I would like to ask, what is a fixy/ fixie, and what are the differences between the two?
My sincerest thanks,

Why do my pillows end up all weird and odd shaped after washing and drying? (according to the instructions)
Rob, do you sleep on your side or on your belly?
Have you considered memory foam pillows? My wife bought us those £70 a pop ones, but IKEA does cheap - flatter (and more comfy) knock-offs.
You pay once and enjoy forever. -

+1 - been through umpteen cheap/mid-range pillows over the years. All shit. Now on Tempur ones from John Lewis, and they're the dog's bollocks. You don't get that initial 'sinking in' feeling - it's more like putting your head down on a bag of cement/sandbag – but then within seconds it's mega-comfy. Stopped a lot of my morning aches and pains too. I'm a side-sleeper on the whole.

I am struggling to remember, but I think we got our duck feather ones for a crazy low price in a John Lewis sale- something approaching £8 per pillow, that should have been £70 each.
It might have been less- some small part of my mind is shouting "£2!, they were £2!", but I'm not sure I believe it.

Rawrrr.from Fixipedia:
**Fixie. also Fixy, Fixi, Fizkie, Fiskies** and (Figsies as they are sometimes known in Cornwall) are mythical Bicycles, considered to be particularly concentrated in the areas around Hoxton and SW2, suggesting some Celtic/Hipster origin for the belief, and name.

These http://rejuvenite.com/
They come as either back/side sleeper or front/side sleeper (two different depths). Latex is far superior to memory foam.
If you payed more than £30 for a memory foam pillow you were ripped off. Also Harrison beds do pocket sprung pillows circa £70 and they have either wool/feather/fibre or cotton fillings.
A good pillow can make a very big difference to your sleep comfort.

Ugh. What the heck is the difference between different Assos lowers? I am trying to decide on a pair of shorts, maybe a pair of 3/4 knickers in Autumn, but cannot figure it out for the life of me! The letters and numbers don't mean anything as far as I can tell, except different pad types but that still doesn't explain what the pad types are.

Oh, and when deciding on mtb Sidis online, how do I know which ones have the replaceable dealy bobbers you walk on?

Is it acceptable to wrap a frame and fork up in carrier bags in a box for postage?
Also should I detatch the fork for transit?
-
• #13146
What would the carrier bags do?
Personally - Cardboard bike box, plastic dropout things or cardboard tube to hold the dropouts apart. Then bubblewrap to the max. Might be overkill but the item being transported is fragile and I've seen how some companies treat the parcels. Also if there aren't any already, cut some handholds in the side of the box. Makes it easier for the delivery person to handle it and less likely to drop the box.

carry it, duh

I thought the carrier bags might do what the bubble wrap does.

Thanks
