Gazelle? Does anyone know anything about them?

Cool, good luck with the sale. I'm just really surprised, I mean there's nothing wrong with a decent Raleigh if the previous owner wanted to restore it why not take it back to it's former glory as a Raleigh. I don't suppose you ever asked him or her why?

Nah, I didn't bother asking. The guy actually sold it to me as a Gazelle and I totally fell for it (it was dark when I was viewing it, the price was good and it came with a decent set of wheels). You're right though man, it's weird as hell. It's a good frame and could have easily been restored into a nice Raleigh.
