What did he have in his hand Gaz? Came prepared to do violence by the looks of things. Nice guy. Imagine spending your life as angry and fat as that.

It was one of those beefy maglite torches. Wouldn't want to get hit by that thing!
-

Have you reported him gaz?
He seemed to be holding it in preparation for an assault, just waiting for you to make the first move.

Whilst riding home on my bike down Tooley Street I got hit by a bus as he was overtaking me as there was not enough room between me and the bus. Instead of sitting behind me he pushed his way through and hence i clipped the and got dragged to the ground and fell of my bike. The driver then blamed me did not call an ambulance or police did not take any witness details and while taking my details continued to let people on the bus.
The driver has a basic duty of care and regardless to wether it was my fault or not he did not adhere to this. As i was in shock he did not help me get up or help me get names or offer me any first aid he just went on driving the bus which is endangering himself and passengers as he could of been in shock himself.
Luckily I have come away only with cuts and bruises if anyone saw this incident please get in touch it happened around 5.25 on Friday 3rd June.
I have contacted the police and the London Buses.

That's obscene. Buses are covered in CCTV so hopefully that will show what happened - make sure they find it. Good luck with pursuing it.

did you get his registration, in which case demand the cctv footage from the bus
it really pisses off tfl when people do this but you have a right to see it, and it should corroborate your story
also contact one of the "solicitors we like" (search for the thread) and get compensation.

absolutely awful. Send Big Daddy Wayne a pm about getting information from TFL, he had a run in with a bus too. I nearly had a very similar experience but managed to jump out the way before getting clipped, I then sat in primary position and swore at the driver just so he knew he was being a dick.

No but I have his driver number and number of the bus and i know exactly where I was at the time of the incident. Actually my dad is part of the team that help put cctv on london buses so he ran the wrong guy over! Thanks for the solicitors link i didn't think about compensation, i just feel lucky to be alive!

Still worth making a complaint. It sounds like it could have been so much worse.

Me and scoot nearly got run down by 2 matching blacked out bmw's swearving in and out of cars doing at least 50mph down mile end road about 9pm. Properly made my heart skip a beat when they zoomed past about 30cm from my leg.

The funny thing was we caught them at the traffic lights. If I was on my road bike I would have got there faster than them.

I just used the Roadsafe London site for the first time to report a passenger carrying an infant on her lap in a little hatchback.
The driver's driving seemed a bit iffy as well.

How many police cars does it take to stop a moped!

Apparently more than they had as I didnt see the rider apprehended. However, they could have taken him out quite easily - at least they have some restraint!
You gotta love cab drivers!
