I bought mine in 2006 and it was well worth buying, but I did have to replace the bars, wheels, and the rear sprocket (so far). It still worked out incredibly cheap. Cheap owing to some cheap components on it, plus the usual economies of scale. Oh, and the fact that it's singlespeed/fixed. :)
