Think the GF2 performs pretty well at high ISOs so you might be gaining some low light performance along with the portability.
If it was me though I think the fact that the film camera was bigger than the digital one would mean I'd use it less. Lack of AF on the digital would only compound this and I think it'd sit on a shelf most of the time. That's just me though.
