I've got a 6-bolt disc in my Pompetamine fork, no problem at all. Best to stick with the Pompetamine fork if you get a Pompetamine, it's about 10mm longer axle to crown than a Project 2 or other cyclocross forks, and you don't want to mess up the steering geometry.
Ah, cheers mdcc_tester, that's good news as they're also half the price of the P2s and the Croix De Fer. Maybe they had clearance problems with an early batch. I thought the P2s would have been taller as I was thinking they would be aimed at 29ers but anyway sounds like the Pompetamines are the way forward.
