The wound ups, along with most cyclocross forks won't affect the geometry as they're all within mm of the 4OOmm length of the BMW fork.
I'm not really a fan of curved forks so it limits my options somewhat. I looked at the kinesis but hate the set back crown.
Pace forks are too wide...I have no intention of running tyres any bigger than cyclocross ones.
If the modified original forks work fine i will most likely stick with them anyway as I'd like to have bottle mounts on again too.
