Mario Vaz can do you a better job for about £90 and you get to visit the best paint shop left in chistendom, before the rest of the bullshit 'Look into my eyes, I am selling a product, a bullshit product, a *Brand...*I said a BRAND...It's all new and sparkly and overtly pretentious and makes you want to puke in your mouth a little bit...''''...takes over...
Just a lovely man that has been painting frames for 40 years and knows pretty much every manufacture colorway that has come into existence over the that time...when Eddy Merckx was making Lance look like a gimp...
Not pretentious...just a good paint job...not trying not to be nice...but this is about as enthralling a paint job as magnolia wall paper...
If you do good paint jobs...ace...sell us that and not a 'fixie' branding idea...tell us how many times you coat the frame...flat it back...stopper it...flat it back again...guide coat...flat it back again...re stopper the remaining pin holes...flat it back...another guide coat...
we would be far happier with that ...tell us...
this is about as valid as the Danni Foffa (TM) Mix-your-fix 11 million colour combinations to colour coordinate your new fixie...
so fucking what...FFFFFFFFFFFFfffffffffUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
How much more fucking lifestyle bullshit do we have to get rammed down our throats...YOu WAnt ThIS FIxie...Don't you...in a agonisingly bad shade of metallic blue with out much glosss.....It looks rattle canned...
and not well....if you are using a paint gun and a compressor...you aren't very good at painting...you are trying to punt a run of the mill conversion frame (WITH MUDGUARD EYELETS) with some un famous parts on ...that you have also painted to detract from their averageness....the frame is bog standard, the paint job almost as average.
Its offensive to offer such a thing at £650....thats not a lot of bike for a lot of bike money...why buy this when you can have a 1954 legnano track painted in paramount team colours for £250?
Nice rant.
(Can I have my tenner now? Thanks)
