Hi,
Can I ask who built the wheels?
-
• #4
They are professionally and well built. They are true and strong set.

whoops

Those are mine, same wheels.
Send me a PM if you're interested in buying.

That's the second time you've done that. Why don't you stop messing peoples' threads?
-
• #10
Cause it's quite clearly against LFGSS classified rules to post in two places at once. Hence the pointing this out. It's hardly messing, just making it obvious to you that you happen to have crossed some forum rules, whether intentionally or not.

That wear pattern on the brake track looks pissed. Like they have been massively over-tensioned and rim distorted around the spokes. And to a CD finish rim in 3 months??

No it isn't.The first time I pointed out that your prices were toppish.
This thread, I've pointed out that your selling the same wheels somewhere else, when the rules have been pointed out to you explicitly already.
This is a community classifieds section. Not ebay.
If you don't like it, then fuck off.

That's a great community you're promoting.
The ads are on different dates. When there was no interest here the ad was added later as part of another ad. Lots of interest though just to point out non sequitur. In light of the rules the matter is inconsequential other than to those looking for a fight.

It's a normal wear pattern for those rims. Some people find the patterns unsightly but it has never bothered me. Over time the aesthetic would become more uniform.

@ OP, you're not coming across well. A "fair play, I didn't know, I will edit my post here/on BR" would have been a better response.

Don't know about the spoke tension but my cd finish front doesn't have the most even wear.
However, 3 months?
I bought mine in June '10 and the front definitely didn't have that kind of wear after 3 months. Plus because of your overall tone, I'll just drop in the fact that I got a set of mint Ultegra's/cxp33s + tyres off here for £80 (down from £120 starting price)....just sayin'

3 months old, very little use.
Really? What are you using as brake blocks, carborundum?
I had my Open Pro CDs for 8 years and sold them here looking "as new", not worn to fuck like that, so they are either 3 months old or lightly used for about 15 years, not both.
28 hole front and rear Open Pro grey CD rims laced to Ultegra 6600 hubs. Smooth and true.
3 months old, very little use.
