  • I'm leaving the bike at work!

  • I'd rather be out headbutting hailstones than doubling up my coffees trying to work on some old exchange server integration code.

    But that's just me.

  • Stunning Double Rainbow!

  • Fuck me, sun in chalk farm!!

    (runs outside to enjoy cigarette)

  • ditto Ladbroke Grove.

  • just rode home in borrowed (well, stolen technically) 38 inch waist, hi-vi, flame-proof overtrousers. rolled up so they were nearly as wide as long. not a good look, but at least my arse is dry.

  • What does it mean?

  • It means we don't live in Barbados.

  • My arse was wet, got a bit of chafage.

  • What does it mean?

we must spill the queen's blood or the harvest will fail.

  • Is it me or has this wind been around for something like six weeks?

I'm having a rest weekend, so not that bothered, but it definitely seems to have been windy for at least a month.

  • Windy for 1 week.

    On wednesday winter begins

Does seem to have been blustery for a bit.

  • Anyone up for a ride on Saturday? Somewhere North East.

  • looks like we're all moving in that direction even if we don't want to.

need to put a sail on my bike.

  • Anyone up for a ride on Saturday? Somewhere North East.

At the risk of sounding like a massive cliché, "I almost spat out my tea" (I always thought people were lying when they said this)

  • Yoikes ... The Ordinary Race at the Noctourne is going to be interesting.

  • typically accurate BBC weatherforecast
bet they didn't see the rain coming yesterday either !

  • ^ it's Metcheck (not BBC), reliably incorrect though.

  • ... and Metcheck has now crashed.

  • I've just got back from the beach.

Just in time too, heavens are about to open.

  • Anyone up for a ride on Saturday? Somewhere North East.

Metcheck is really funny like that. This keeps happening. I think I first noticed it more than two years ago, and it was probably old news by then. Over 200mph is new, though, I think.

  • Its chucking it down in the East. Need to head to the Apple store at 3 to get mbp fixed so do not really want to ride with laptop in rain. Anyone in central to give me a weather report and tell me it is sunny so i don't need to take the bus.....

  • Bought a waterproof cycling cap. Looks gash. Dry head ftw though. Oddly looking forward to trying it out just now.

    I has sealskinz socks also.

    Come at me rain.
