• I've had plenty of accidents (mostly with trees, rocks and the ground) and various helmets have probably saved me plenty, though haven't bought one for about 5yrs now. its technically old and a bit on the tight side, time for a replacement....

    yes its an mtb helmet, but tbh I don't ride modern road bikes, and when I do ride on the road I rarely wear a helmet as the greastest danger to me is badly driven cars, and lets face it, if your rear ended by a grannie at 50mph (nearly happened twice now) there ain't going to be enough of you left for a helmet to even begin to protect. mtb is for mtb and road when its 'required' for events etc.
