When I first purchased it I never had the intention of producing a superlight bike. It's just been a solid platform that through upgrading has ended up fairly light. It did get a bit addictive trying to get the weight down, changing from Ultegra to Red took a decent chunk off.
Compaired to some of the real weight weenie bikes it's still on the porky side. Though I don't plan on running super light tubs, and my pockets aren't deep enough for a sub 800g frame.
Next step might be a lighter stem.
