it's for soft stuff that sticks. I would like it for cutting raw meat, not cooked meat. I would also one day like a cheese knife with the holes in it.
Not trying to be pedantic - Granton Edges aren't always a feature of Santokus are they? Its just the shape / length of the blade generally (less rock). Anywho - not to worry, it did a sterling effort of slicking my pork.
