Oh it's 'unique'
Funnily enough, I was looking at the livestrong.org website earlier to see what they actually do. I work in Cancer Care, and have not seen any livestrong related materials.
At least in the UK, Macmillan provide much better patient/family support. Cancer Research UK provide funding for research - something that is claimed livestrong do, but can't see any evidence of this on their website.
Interestingly, just tried to check on livestrong.org again in case I missed anything, but the website appears to be down. lol.

cycling itself seems to be as popular as ever, only the following of the professional scene has declined.
Has it declined or just been watered down, as cycling becomes less the domain of obsessive enthusiasts?

There is a Livestrong branded Cancer Centre in South Australia but no-one actually knows whether they contributed anything to it, and there are suspicions that they actually paid Livestrong to use the name as some kind of franchise.(!)

I really can't see how and monies raised by Armstrong for his good causes absolves him from any guilt or testing
Not familiar with Catholic doctrine then?

Not familiar with Catholic doctrine then?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IndulgenceThe indulgence is granted by the Catholic Church after the sinner has confessed and received absolution
We are still waiting for the confession. He can wait for the absolution.

I thought they just sold them for cash in the good old days. Surely that's how he got forgiven by the UCI for the Swiss positive?

Just watched the 60 Minutes programme and the extras (managed to miss the Archers as a consequence). Very interesting and worth a look. I cannot see even Armstrong climbing out of this one.

no doubt about it. You can tell by the eyes:
all those people in 1969 who looked up to him but he was cheating all the time...

See you in court!

it's worth bearing in mind that lance could only behave the way he has because pro cycling allowed him to - i doubt the peloton was under any of the illusions the rest of the world indulged....remember how they treated christophe bassons, filippo simeoni...

But Clive hadn't missed 'The Archers' for 46 years!
When you've been to the moon the lack of atmospheric pressure can change your vocal tones, a shame really.
