IMO it should be a bright colour. It has a retro, but slightly lairy look to it. So I'd say flick through some 90's colour schemes.
My choice (in order) would be:
Yellow (either banana or LOOK-style)
Orange (either bright metallic sparkle or 70s mattish - like on old Fiats)
Lime Green
Crazy multi-coloured fliptone paint a la Kein
Also where are you getting all this Easton Scandium tubing from, and what's the rough cost of the tubing?
i'm lying if i say that i wasn't thinking about yellow. I have all the components for the bike and they are almost all black. I have a friend who has a yellow look and i love the **look of his look **(eh eh!). But i think the yellow frame only work with some black stickers on it. But that's a great choice hugo ;)
I was thinking also about metalic blue or red. (i don't know)
That lime Green you said is something like this?
humm! a paint a la Klein... i think that will have to be made using an aerograph. I know a guy who paint helmets and bikes... but i think that will put the price much higher
Valdemiro had some Easton Scandium tubes. I heard him complain the other day about the new prices of those tubings. He told me that Easton asked him for alot of money the last time he bought a set. The same thing happened with steel. The fixed gear phenomenom made the steel tubes become a "fashion subject" again. The prices were down for several years but now (the laste years) the search for steel tubes made the prices go high. I also heard Valdemiro complain about that thing too. I can't tell you the price of the Easton scandium tubes now becouse i used the ones Valdemiro had.
