I think there is a valid point with using something like the R4. Say for example you have 2 DSs in a household, like the poster mentioned before. Having to buy 2 copies of every game is a little ridiculous.
Likewise having backups, and consolidating 10 games on to one flashcart makes sense to me. Less to carry around.
