In terms of English spelling conventions, 'scumo' is actually a correct spelling for /'scuːməʊ/, as in the collective name requested by scumo. In order for it to naturally be pronounced /'scʌməʊ/, as intended by various funny people, it would have to be spelled 'scummo'. :)

Congratulations Oliver. How to make an already dull subject even less interesting.

the intended pronunciation* is skoo-mo not scummo so the spelling is correct no?
*or at least when I originally said it.

Hey Will, when the kids are having their fun, us oldies can only try to do our best to help. :)

Yes, but people seemed to interpret it as 'scummo' and I'm sure that's what upset scumo.

In your world, people are interpreting your surname as /ʃɪt/ rather than /ʃɪk/, so it would have to be spelled 'Shit'.

Spotted: Loafheads in Tottenham. Didn't really spot him so much as recognise the bike and ask, timidly, LFGSS?

I was in the Herne Hill trailer too! But not quite so obviously. Which is for the best, methinks :)
(And to reverse the spot, I spotted a certain Oliver Stick plugging the forum to the audience of Breaking Away in Bemondsey this afternoon.) -

I don't think the trailer is on-line yet. It was only a very short snippet of work in progress. They will probably be working on a longer film.

It was an 8 1/2 minute edit especially for the screening today. There's a much shorter cut, with me looking like a tosser, at dingcreative.co.uk. Less narrative, but will give you an idea of the quality of the footage.

if you turn up to beginner training with them you'll look like a tosser, and all the hip kids will point and laugh as you have to ride around top of the track and take breathers in the middle while everyone else gets on with business.
just saying, like.beers is fine though.
