I've literally just fitted one of those cricket guards to my Bern... Bit of a pain in the ass marrying the curved side plates with the different curves of the Bern, and also finding a mounting solution that doesn't leave anything protruding inside...
Only attached it with 4 bolts so far, but think I've got the position pretty bang on, will add another 4 bolts once I've tried it as is... One thing I'd maybe recommend is some really thin rubber foam in between the guard mounts and the side of the helmet to make the fit better? Didn't have any to hand though, but may add later, I'll pop a picture up with the hardware I used if I can do it from my phone in a minute.
