  • Got a tenner on Cav today. Fingers crossy wossed

  • go david millar

  • Easy £13 profit!

  • well done cav.. millar crumbled at the final km

  • Guess who dropped Cavendish in favour of Pettachi for today's stage.

    /knob

  • Millar was just after some TV time. He had no chance and knew it.

  • Good day for British riders today, well done Cav. A very strong sprint.

And for SB cash win at the bookies

  • nice

  • well done SB with your winnings..

  • Loving Cav's manxtalian interviews on the finish line.

  • Cav and Petacchi had a little chat in the final few km's of the stage yesterday, an the Italian seemed to give Cav a friendly pat on the back.

At about 1km to go, Cav's lead out seemed to melt and he took Petacchi's wheel instead.
Petacchi seemed to go a little earlier than usual, admittedly it was an uphill sprint, but could it be that Petacchi had offered to give Cav a little lead out to apologise for the stage 2 line infringement?

    Just a thought...

  • (there was no line infringement ;-))

hard to tell, just know that many a race in cycling history wasn't won because the winner was the strongest... maybe we'll never know... it would be nice to have the TV interviews 'the flandriens' subtitled for English speaking people, Belgian tv-cycling commentator/specialist Michel Wuyts gets some quite frank quotes from former winners like Merckx, De Vlaeminck, Godefroot and others, also speaking of arrangements between riders in the final of a race, found that quite interesting

I lke to think Patacchi would consult his fantasy team owners, before trying a stunt like that

I'd love to be able to understand the Sporza commentaries.

Oy, oy, oy, oy Cavendish !

Oi, oi, oi, oi Cavendish !

    no?

  • From Cav's interview after hs win yesterday, he seemed to suggest that Petacchi had told him that he had cheated the day before on Etna by using a car door handle to assist him beating the cut-off. Cav was not amused.

  • Has anyone got a link to the UCI "Secret List" setting out the likelihood of a rider from last year's TdeF doping?

  • Geraint Thomas at number 6?

  • I wonder what the riders think of this.

  • I cant see it being popular.

  • Geraint Thomas at number 6?

    That's what annoys me.

He probably has shown some odd blood values, but that is before the fact that he's had his spleen removed has been take into account.
There are any number of factors why blood values might appear dodgy, but until those factors have been presented alongside the incidents of fluctuation, then that list is almost meaningless.

Whoever leaked it wants a jolly good sacking, with a large dose of prosecution.

    And a slap.

  • Fucking right.

  • I think it should refularly published in the name of openness

  • ......but with some accuracy and explanation as to why a certain rating has been given.
