Well got the Witcher 2 in the post today. Man it's buggy (at least the launcher is).
1- Disable spybot before running, otherwise activation won't work. It won't tell you anything though, it will just close the window after "checking" for updates. Which it actually hasn't been able to do, and you'll see no network traffic.
2- To run a full screen resolution higher than 1920, you need to set your desktop res to 1920, then the game res higher. This will then let it launch. Otherwise it will just think about it, and drop you back to the launcher. Again, no errors nothing to let you know what's wrong (or that something is wrong).
Other than that, it's very pretty! Now, back to Witcher 1 to actually finish it first.
