  • If I get a film scanner, can I scan directly from the (developed) negatives?

    yep.

Any ideas of good (cheap ones) that can do both 35 and 120?

these are rare. dedicated 35mm scanners are easy enough to come by, just check online reviews and fine a good cheap(ish) one. obviously don't worry about included software, as the majority of it is shit anyway - if you need to post-process just do it in PS.

for 120 the best option for consumers is just a normal flatbed scanner, with strips to put the film in. you'll be able to do both with this type of scanner, but the 35mm results might not be to the greatest standard. what do you need the scans for? if they're just for personal use, then you should be fine with a flatbed, and if you want decent enlargements/high-res scans for print or web, then take them to a lab. it's impossible to match the quality of a drum scanner or an optical enlarger at home in limited space anyway.

    nice pictures by the way
