Having had a few hours to reflect on performances of the the past 37 games I'd like to be the first to say that we didn't deserve to stay up. Sure we beat teams that have historically beens better than us, and we've lost to teams that have in turn been historically worse than us. The players managed to perform so consistently badly that they certainly weren't performing to the best of their £50-£100k pricetags. The fans certainly weren't getting any value for money and the overall performances were an utter disgrace.
This will give the porn barons and La Brady (as well as the next hapless individual who happens to sign on the line for the job which in my opinion is a poisoned chalice) the opportunity to clear some of the dead wood that has dogged the team since long before they arrived.
I'm looking forward to next season already. Not really so much the potential tear-ups, but for a new start under the tenure of Davids2.
A few hundred pages ago, Mr O posted a comment "never boo a blue". He has a point and a very valid one too, but if the players look like they can't be arsed which fundamentally results in loss of top flight football then so be it.
WHU didn't play top flight football this season and as a result of this we won't be playing it next season.
Excellent.
