Upload them as attachments as before, submit, click on each attachment in turn, select the image, go pack to post, edit, paste pictures in. Laborious but simple without any external sites faff.

you need to upload the photos to somewhere publicly accessible, not link directly to your email inbox. obviously. I use tinypic.com for image hosting duties, give that a go.
