Had this problem for a while and its driving me nuts. Clicking noise at even intervals coming from the drive train area. Changed the BB, greased, fitted perfectly - noise still there.
I pedal and the noise appears then back pedal, pedal again and its dissapeared. The clicks are sometimes frequent, sometimes further apart. I'm assuming it has to be either the chain or the crank? Could it be a cheap chain? Argh!
