Stolen bikes

As above, I'm just getting used to the forums (and regularly go to sleep dreaming about Bjorns 'nago: http://www.lfgss.com/thread64924.html#post2140883)

Had my bike stolen from Farringdon on Monday after a great weekend of riding in Dorset http://twitpic.com/4vnduk if anyone see's it, Iet me know. I was still using it :S

In a similar vein, saw this on Gumtree and looks too good for the price. I've just spoken to the guy and seemed a little 'foggy' on details. I arranged to go look at it at 6 this evening. Any recommendations on checking if it's stolen? Does anyone recognise it. Red Peugeot track bike.
