  • Easy on the Kentucky talk.

Balks, you now I'm a fan of the Colonel but when you're living in the home of Sushi and noodles and shit the bargain bucket can afford to stand down.

  • Right! Why bother with KFC when you could be eating camembert-flavour Kit Kat!

  • some guy locked his bike to someone elses :/

I've actually tried one of those weird cheese flavoured kit-kats was given a packet as a present by a Japanese student at work. Tasted like chocolatey feet! Felt guilty about it as it was a present and all but had to throw the packet away.

  • back on topic, I must refrain from ever leaving key in lock again.

It's not like i've never left my key in front door either... potential every valuble possession fail.

what prevents me from pulling away with key IN-HAND i do not know. with the front door it was a case of 'argh shit i've forgotten my wallet, so i'll just open the door quickly leaving the key-in, then take em on the way out'. bizarre i know.

    lucky im not Edscoble's neighbour.

  • Saw this BSO outside my work this morning, the "locking" method is like putting a medal round someone's neck..

  • I was at the hospital in basildon on tuesday and in their bike parking area (which admittedly was right outside the canteen and the ante natal ward so high traffic) most bikes were locked up with liquorice whip and where d-locks were employed they were around one part of the bike only.

I felt like the king of bike security locking up there. as if my bike was some kind of shining example of how to do it right.

  • Looking at that chain and cassette set my teeth on edge.

  • Mine too! The owner had better hope that someone steals it to prevent a chain fail injury.

  • A nice, tidy little Saracen. Spent some money on locks too, a Fahg backed up with a Kryptolock and cable. Nice...

    Well, upon closer inspection:

The Fahg isn't even being used, someone else has just left it there for matey to lean his bike up against.

He's locked to sweet Fanny Adams. Muppet.

Someone has done this twice this week at my workplace, but with a shitter lock. I am tempted to stick a note on it, but so far have restrained myself to a disbelieving look.

    stand down, bucket

  • I've also seen a few front wheel only lock ups in my time :)

Is it me or could this just be someone using someone else's lock?

  • The bike/ lock are not usually there, I see the rack everyday so it's unlikely but I know what you mean, the locking methods used in general are fairly tragic I often get to work to find bits of cut lock lying around. (Holloway Road)

  • Saw a really hot Dolan SS just abandoned outside a shop on my travels round London today, was shocked it was still there with no one obviously looking after it! People are crazy risk takers!

  • I suppose this is what one should expect in the suburbs

I clearly went to the wrong school - all we had were friendship bracelets - lame

  • In my day it was the bracelet made from 4 strands of plastic woven together. Can't remember the name of the weave.

edit: Bam - this type of thing. So easy to make, you just needed a lot of patience

  • Terrifying. Spotted in South London. Amazingly was still there two hours later.

  • Be great if that view of stealing could be installed into our culture.
    I do like the Japanese.

But then all of our porn would be based on ritual humiliation instead of fat wrinkly housewives.....

  • ^my home-made vids already are :(

One of these last night on Wandsworth Bridge Road locked with a cable lock no thicker than standard three core wire. I couldn't help but want to cut it bring it home and leave a note saying serves you right, I'm at Xxx
