i like the bit that says, at about 40kms from the end there ar two sections which will be only dirt road. Risky..
i don't know this part of tuscany, but i have visited lucca, pisa, firenze, san gimignamo, siena. i am however a huge fan of all italian wine.
my uncle 'pepino' from apuglia makes his own and it's superb, as is the homemade limoncello :)
