Think that might be a slight overestimation.
I went down the hill first and briefly touched 29mph (about 140rpm at a guess). Skive was riding same GI as me (~67ish) and overtook quite comfortably before pulling away into the distance. Eye opening to see somebody spin like that when I'm new to fixed. It was fast however fast it was.
no gears here.
i rock 64 odd gi which at 37mph is something like 200rpm
i cannot hit 40 on that gearing. -

I managed 34.Xmph on 70" when we went down it the other weekend, best Rollaz result a (theoretical) 48.4mph, 195.5rpm on 84.9″. Getting to 200rpm ain't easy.

I've plotted it based on skive's cribsheet:

Do it! You might surprise yourself. I know I did.
For the record in the last one I did only 2 people reached or exceeded 200rpm. Jimbilly and Conor Bunn, who are both MONSTERS ;)
3rd was 199.6. Like I say, not easy!

oh, Fox - I can't find it now but that photo from when you went to brighton recently (I think cupcakes took it) where you're on this little narrow track with hedgerow on the side - where is it? I assume it's way west of last weeken's route, but I think I'd like to find it sometime...

Sorry folks, havent checked this today. Looks like a bit of rain on Saturday. Better for skids....
The routes pretty similar to Sundays ride. I've not got flash on the iPad so I'll check tomorrow on hoefla posted and try and work out google maps if needs be. It's pretty easy though. I used a sheet of a4 last time I went with the directions on. -
