    ... thinking about a plum/dark grey scheme.

Sounds good. I'd go for black or very, very dark blue with the plum.

Are you going to put falcon decals back on it?

  • i need a stem, seat post, spokes and tyres. Running out of money.

  • oh and a sprocket and chain.

  • can we have a close up picture of the beast in the middle?

    here u go:

the one in the middle is a tt bike from 77, with very interesting details such as self made bullhorns (people where using drops until about 84) and an early a-head set system, the ring is a 57.

the red one will be a light road bike, around 8 kilos when it is done.

  • (people where using drops until about 84)

Most of us were using them until much later than that - I didn't get my lo pro until 1991, and plenty of testers went straight from drops to tri bars in the mid 90s.

  • Now I can use it as my every day bike.

    Has Graham himself seen this?

  • Ace!

    (except prince charles)

  • how did you make carbon fibre??

  • You don't. You buy the weave, the resin and the hardener and lay it on top of the balsa framework

  • i just got this sweet rossin from someone from Italy , did anyone know what kind of rossin is this ?
    it takes 650/700 wheels

  • oooh

  • That Rossin rear triangle is nuts

Lovely frame. Please don't make a shitty conversion out of it

  • Ah, whatever, as long as it has some proper parts..

  • I know it's not everyone's cup of splosh, but I love it and it is in original paint with the original owner's name on the top tube...I won't change the wheels either, as he had them built as his 'Sunday best' years ago......

    Hetchins Magnum Bonum Scorpion
Apparently slightly different to most and could be a special order.....original bill of sale was lost in a house move!
Campag SR first gen seatpin (colnago Panto'd) and rear mech, SR front mech, Apparently a Campag/Colnago special chainset, but some say a Gipiemme.....either way I like it.
Gold (yep, I know) Galli brakes, gold anno Excelto hubs (excellent quality) laced to red anno CXP33's......(I know as well!!). Brooks honey tape around some NOS Middlemore randonneur bars, Cinelli stem, Brooks honey pro saddle......I think thats it.

It has the unusual 'Italiante' rear stays, which I like as well.......

Very nice contrasting head tube colours, with the gold lined in white and the ruby flam lined in gold..

Like I say, not everyone's cup of tea, but I love it lots........and it gets lots of miles too ;o)

  • Wow, sorry for the shit photos.... they looked ok on my iPhone. I'll try to blag the wife's camera for some better ones....

  • Lovely.

  • incredible rossin frame!, How will you build it up?
C-record?, (you should replace that low end khamsin disc wheel with a Ghibli)
