Once you get the hang of it Smartstamp is quite handy (even if the software is your typical thrown-together POS).

I'm going to use it for the T-shirts when I get those online. But for the jerseys, the bulk and the special delivery made it useless. I read online that post offices sometimes refuse to do the laborious special delivery processing in such bulk when you aren't buying the postage from them, as they don't make any revenue from you using smartstamp.

So it makes sense to use, but only for lower value items that wouldn't need to be received and processed by a post office.
