Yeah, good job yesterday Tom, Alexand the rest of the Dulwich Paragon + London Pheonix gang. Devils can always be hard to get right, but it does remind everyone of what a hard job judges have, and hopefully to cut them a bit of slack.
The rest of the racing was great though, Match sprints were fun (I'm glad no-one went for a proper long one), the kilo was good for those who wanted to (not me!), and I heard a couple of the visiting riders saying that was one of the best 20k scratches they've done at Herne Hill. Its been a long time since a groups lapped the field.
I'm fine btw. A deep but small cut, I'll be back on the bike tomorrow hopefully. James Clark looked worse - fairly minor scrapes, but quite a lot of them. Was a shame to have to watch the last race on my back. What happened to all those photos - I want to see some!
