  • Instead of using a star fangled nut to hold all the headset etc in place this fangle is a top cap and a bolt which goes all the way through the steerer with a wedge which sits under the fork, that tightens the lot up instead.

I have more stuff under the stairs for retro mtb, just choosing a moment to rip it all out and see whats there. I think there may be a complete bike in bits.

  • Be gone polo fiends!
    My cones need adjusting Stu!

  • Cool squeaker!!
Project 2,s and wheel set actively being sought! Then on to the finer details!

  • Dubmaster I have a pump adaptor thingmy of yours. I was given it outside the pub after critical mass. I'll keep it til I next see you.

  • For Sale:

Carrera Subway Zero - size M in Black. SIngleSpeed or Fixie swapover wheel. Tyres changed to Scwalbe Terra Cruiser, rear caliper changed to Avid Single Digit 6 (i think) and handlebars reduced by 2" overall.

Fairly sturdy thing really, given it's a Halford jobby. Still in very good nick with only a few scratches. Has some provision for racks, a comfier seat and has an adjustable bottle cage. Back to standard ratio.

£130 as is or +£10 to include original seat, smaller front sprocket and chain to suit and it goes on eBay in 24 hours. Cost £199 + £70 for the extra bits

If i knew how to add a photo dagnabbit, i would. PM me if you're interested but i'm away for a week from tomorrow so replies may be slow.

    Cheers

  • RPM Chainring 48 tooth 110BCD
Never been ridden or used, taken off a brand new crankset - £11 posted

TA Specialties Chainrings 49/39 perfect for youth A gear restriction when used with a 15 up cassette, or perfect for those that don’t quite want to the full 53 of a standard chainset. Have only been used for one racing system on the best race bike, so have seen limited mileage, I’d say a max of 500 miles. I work in a bike shop so know how to look after my kit, and these rings are no exception. £30 posted for the pair, or £16 posted each.

FSA Triple Crankset 170mm in length with 52/42/30 chainrings. The 42/30 are steel and are quite pitted but still have life in them, and the 52 is pretty much as new. Comes with a Shimano BB that was ony fitted 6 months before the crankset was taken off. They are quite basic and heavy, but are mechanically sound, just have a fair few scratches from overshifting the chain and things, but this is just cosmetic. £15 plus postage.

All items are located in Redditch, near Birmingham. Open to very very near offers, but must be via PM, NO DIBS, whoever PM’s and pays first wins.

    rear mech?
    braze on shifters?
    cranks?
    bottom bracket?
Short reach allen key fitting brakes?
    some flopped and chopped bars?

    Cheers me dears.
