Excellent, without seeing the BB, the 2 bottle cages and the internal rear brake cable were almost enough to tell.
I have an ~86, resprayed and running as a singlespeed, no dead puppies, just waiting on time & cash and reasonably priced C-Record goodies to appear on flea-bay. I'll upload a few photos soon.

Much like buses, you wait for ages for a Pinarello and then two come along at once.
I bought this rusty little beauty a while ago:
which I did quite a bit of singlespeed winter commuting on like this:
and then did some restoration & rust removal/prevention, saddle looks a bit nose-up in this picture but it doesn't feel that way:
the next step involves this stuff:

bought a somewhat ok muddy fox courier for 20 euros from recycling centre last week. Some random parts thrown together to feel how it rides:
to do:- shorter stem
- fatter wheels
- road fork
good beater material.
- shorter stem

Amazing couple of pages. Funny, that thrown together Muddy Fox still looked cool after viewing all that porn :)
Needs fatter 26" tyres/wheels though.

Not so cool that it made feel old though.

hehe yea, was a bit concerned was I posting in the project and not porn thread after seeing my ratty beater in this page :)
I'm 23 so I dont have first hand knowledge of muddy foxes in early 90's but both my mom and dad had ones. They were one of the first mtbs in Finland he said today with nostalgic look in hes eyes.

Back when that came out we where riding the local trails on our BMX's. Because thats what we had. A couple of the better off kids bought proper MTB's. We may have been wrong, but always looked up to those with Muddy Foxs (the cool ad campaigns helped).

Thanks, thought about removing the HUGE wheel stickers alright but was going to wait until they started coming off, they do however seem to be still welded on solidly after 3000km. They are very good wheels btw, smooth, free running and still true, I did initially buy them because they're Italian but I can't find any fault with them.
I would like a silver (& less in your face) chain ring but I'll probably wait until I'm 100% sure I'll keep her non-geared before I do anything.
