Yeah, IPs not really possible at an open meet which starts at 1430 without seriously compromising the program, you can do it with 6 up on the track but even so, it's a lot of organising. Might take 45-50 mins if 50 riders want to do it. Plus timers and holders at each station...

There are ways around it. i.e Good Friday used to have a 10 minutes pursuit with 8 stations (and at less serious events i see no problem with more than 8). If you make the race long enough so that most people get caught, and you enforce the 'you're out once you get caught' rule then you should only need 3 or 4 people with stopwatches as only 3 or 4 finish. holders aren't a problem and not many people are stupid enough to want to do a long pursuit in the middle of an open meet so it wouldn't take all day.
