Raleigh Jeep was given a quick shake down and fix up over the weekend, not got the patience / bank balance to get the paint fully restored, so this is it finished as far as it goes (bar snipping and capping the brake cables).
Jobs done:
Serviced Headset
Serviced front Hub
Slight Truing of both wheels
New brake cables and outers.
Damn good clean and some wire wool to get much of the rust off the chromey bits, chrome gone in places, e.g. DS crank arm.
New seatpost bolt (old one fell out while I rode it home)
600c wheels (24" appx) so ideal for a shorter person, GF is going to test ride it for a while then will decide to keep or sell on.
Not a great pic I know.
P.s. If anyone has a frame mounting pump (notch at either end) that'd suit & they want rid of, please let me know.
